Today I will send off my first donation check to the library keeping true to my promise to donate a dollar from every pair of earrings sold .
New children's books will be purchased, there will be rejoicing in the book stacks. There will be hushing of that rejoicing in the book stacks, because c'mon, libraries are quiet places. The rejoicing will continue, but at an appropriate volume for libraries.
